Salary:           R 65 000 - R 75 000 P/m dependent upon experience



  • Relevant Degree in Food Technology or equivalent


  • 5 + years’ experience in sales; preferably in FMCG;

  • experience in handling of key accounts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan fortnightly sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach

  • Learn and apply client classifications

  • Building market share across all categories

  • Drive and achieve volumes / budget across all categories

  • Build on and research product and industry knowledge

  • Work on promotional activity as per standards

  • Build solid long standing client relationships

  • Absolute focus on customer and service

  • Weekly sales reports

  • Proactively look for new business and explore opportunities in the market

  • Provide information on market trends as required

  • Sales administration

  • Ensure deliveries are carried out to company standards

  • Develop new relationships through field visits

  • Develop agreements for factory accounts

  • Review customer accounts monthly to identify and solve queries and outstanding matters
