Position: Area Sales Manager
Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R 70 000 - R 80 000 Per Month

To assist in the achievement of sales, volume and GP budgets. To motivate and support Sales Representatives to achieve targets.
Qualifications:

Matric

Relevant Business Degree or National Diploma

Food Sciences Degree
Knowledge & Experience

Analytical thinking ability and able to make good judgements

Computer literacy

Commercial understanding and business acumen
-
Planning and organizing skills
-
3 – 5 years Management of people – ability to inspire, motivate and maintain control
Requirements

3 – 5 year’s achievement track record in Sales at a Senior Key Accounts Management level or Area Sales Manager level

Prepared to work overtime as and when required
-
Flexible to travel (JHB, Vereeniging and Klerksdorp)

Driver’s License is essential
Key responsibilities:
-
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback from field activity

Generate ideas and implement special sales activities and innovative sessions

Participate in demos, promotions and marketing events and evaluate the success thereof

Compile a variety of sales reports and sales feedback as required

Participate in weekly ADAPT sessions
-
Travel with Sales Reps and provide mentoring and coaching as required

Team development and motivation

Sales analysis and reporting

Compliance monitoring and follow up

Competitor analysis

Sales, market share, client categorization analysis - report back and monitor

Manage team towards achievement of company objectives
