Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition. He/she will oversee all marketing campaigns, conduct market research, analyse data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. The incumbent will monitor and optimize marketing performance, manage the brand identity, and build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders. He/she will also lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a creative and results-driven environment. The incumbent will be required to play a critical role in driving the company's marketing efforts and contributing to its overall success in the market.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing strategies: Create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals and target audience. Determine target markets, positioning, messaging, and campaign objectives.

Conduct market research: Perform market research and analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviours. Identify market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.

Oversee marketing campaigns: Plan, execute and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, events, etc.). Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet set objectives.

Manage brand identity: Maintain and enhance the company's brand image and reputation.

Develop brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and visual identity. Ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communications.

Analyse marketing performance: Monitor and analyse marketing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI. Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with sales, product development, creative, and other teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

Collaborate on product launches, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.

Budget management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across different campaigns and activities. Track expenses, analyse cost effectiveness, and report on budget utilization.

Build and maintain relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with external vendors, agencies, media partners, and stakeholders. Negotiate contracts, manage partnerships, and leverage industry connections to support marketing efforts.

Team leadership and development: Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing team.

Provide guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve individual and team goals.

Stay updated on industry trends: Keep up to date with the latest marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Continuously learn and explore new strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree:

A degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is typically required. Specializations in marketing or digital marketing are beneficial.

Professional Certifications:

Industry certifications such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or Facebook Blueprint can demonstrate expertise in specific marketing areas.
Relevant Experience:

Several years of experience in marketing, with a focus on progressively responsible roles, ideally in a managerial or leadership capacity.
