We're seeking a passionate and self-motivated SALES SPECIALISTS to join our awesome sales team to help us drive our business success by increasing sales. Your main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users by selling the products that our clients (and their customers) have grown to rely on. If you understand the sales process and have an ability to generate sales, leads, building relationships, closing deals, are personable, professional, enjoy visiting clients, eager to learn more about power tools and accessories, have strong negotiating skills, can showcase our products in a compelling way and have the necessary self-discipline, then this role is made for you!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Identify prospects and leads.

  • Make sales.

  • Make appointments to meet clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Understand our clients’ needs, wants and resolve queries to promote customer experience.

  • Advise customers on specials, new products, price changes.

  • Learn technical details about our products to explain alternative uses and applications.

  • Process orders and credits and follow through.

  • Keep merchandising material up to date.

  • Prepare and present weekly reports.

  • Attend sales educational training, events and expo’s.

  • Arrange in-store demonstrations.

  • Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices. 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

  •  Experience working in a sales environment

  • Power tool & accessories knowledge is an advantage

  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Team player

  • Good time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills

  • Self-motivated and disciplined

  • Ability to affectively plan your day and prioritize your duties

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • A Matric Certificate (Grade 12)

  • A tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing or studying towards one will be an advantage

  • 10 yrs + Experience

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office knowledge, advanced Excel, Kerridge (K8)

  • Valid driver’s license
