Our client is looking for a seasoned and professional FESTOOL SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join their awesome sales team to help drive business success by significantly increase turnover and brand visibility in South Africa.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FESTOOL SALES REP

  • Potential-oriented development of trade partners and end customers in the greater Johannesburg area.

  • Proactive sales of Festool products to our trade partners in the target groups.

  • Consistent and sustainable implementation of pre-defined and self-defined sales targets and standards.

  • Planning and implementation of standardized and individual POS measures, such as the maintenance of our product presentation systems.

  • Developing, presenting and implementing sales promotions and visiting our trade partners' customers.

  • Demonstrations and training of our system products in theory and practice.

  • Targeted customer acquisition.

  • Collecting territory data and using it to manage territory potential.

  • Coordinate market development in co-operation with team colleagues, our internal sales, training and marketing department.

  • Participation in regional and national events such as trade fairs, road shows or in-house exhibitions.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Several years’ experience in field sales of power tool products and applications requiring explanation to the trade.

  • High level sales negotiation skills & confidence to close deals.

  • Goal- and results-oriented approach to build long-term, sustainable customer relationships.

  • Committed and reliable with a confident demeanor.

  • Self-disciplined/self-motivated with good time-management skills.

  • Inter-personal and professional communication skills.

  • Must be able to demonstrate your experience: working with wood and power tools – Essential requirement.

  • Be familiar with the brand.

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Successfully completed commercial training or relevant university studies.

  • Confident with digital systems, media, Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

 

OTHER

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally with occasional overnight stays.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Valid passport.

  • Resides in Durban or surrounding area.

  • Start date: ASAP
