Our client is seeking a passionate and self-motivated SALES SPECIALIST to join their awesome sales team to help them drive their business success by increasing sales. Your main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users by selling the products directly to the end user. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RAWLPLUG SPECIALISTS....

 

  • Make sales - Look for opportunities to identify prospects and leads

  • Support and consult with the sales team to ensure efficiency and promote customer experience

  • Make appointments to meet clients and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Learn technical details about our products to explain alternative uses and applications

  • Process orders and follow through

  • Prepare and present weekly reports

  • Attend sales educational training, events and expo’s

  • Consulting sales approach on construction sites, in machine shops and developing relationships with engineers.

  • Knowing what information, you need to action a specification

  • Application knowledge and identification and turning this knowledge into opportunities

  • Developing professional relationships and showing value in solving problems.

 

QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • A punctual and presentable individual who has great interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Someone who is well organized, proactive and able to work without constant supervision. 

  • Must have excellent product and market knowledge and be able to travel. 

  • A team player who has a friendly demeanor and excellent work ethics. 

  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed and attend special events (i.e. trade shows, Expo’s etc.)

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years Sales Experience

  • Power tool & accessory product knowledge is an advantage

  • Customer focussed

  • Ability to handle unexpected changes in your daily routine and adapt, plan, re-arrange the rest of your duties to maximize your day accordingly

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Team player

  • Good time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Ability to handle pressure and multiple instructions

  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans

  • Resourceful

  • High level of motivation, very string customer focus and a continuous improvement mentality required

  • Business acumen and excellent knowledge of the job market and network across the sector

 

QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of K8 will be advantageous

  • Minimum diploma in Civil Mechanical or Industrial Engineering/qualified in an industrial trade

  • Computer skills

  • Microsoft Office knowledge

  • A valid driver’s license with no infringements or outstanding fines
