Our Client is seeking a passionate and self-motivated INSTORE SALES CONSULATANT to join their awesome sales team to help them drive their business  success by increasing sales. Your main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users by selling the products that their clients (and their  customers) have grown to rely on.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INSTORE SALES CONSULATANT … 

 

  • Perform instore sales of all Vermont Sales products and ensure that sales targets are achieved 

  • Provide exceptional customer care to end-users and assist customers with technical information and advice 

  • Manage the stock holding of all assigned stores 

  • Do demonstrations of Vermont Sales products when required 

  • Continuously growth your product knowledge 

  • Merchandise all Vermont Sales products that arrive on a weekly basis and maintain the “shelf health” of displays 

  • Keep all stands neat and orderly. 

  • Arrange pricing labels for all required products 

  • Acquire and maintain the best possible shelf space for Vermont Sales products 

  • Keep record and informing Key Accounts Manager/Sales Representative of any incorrect bar coding, pricing and packaging 

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with employees in the various stores 

  • Complete a weekly call report 

  • Complete a monthly planner including aged stock planning per store 

  • Ensure that all document procedures are adhered to and admin is kept up to date for each store 

  • Ensure that aged stock is managed on a monthly basis 

  • Action the six month no-sales reports on a monthly basis 

  • Perform stock integrity reports on a monthly basis 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience working in a sales environment 

  • Power tool & accessory product knowledge is an advantage 

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 

  • Team player 

  • Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills 

  • Presentation skills 

  • Ability to affectively plan your day and prioritize your duties 

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE 

  • A Matric Certificate (Grade 12) 

  • Certificate in sales/marketing an advantage 

  • Microsoft Office knowledge, advanced Excel skills 

OTHER 

  • Extensive travel 

  • Valid drivers license with no outstanding fines 

  • Valid passport
