Refrigeration Technician

Salary:  R 20 000 Per Month

We are seeking a Refrigeration Technician with CTC R20 000.00. After 3 months’ probation it is compulsory to contribute to our Provident Fund which means it would be a 14% cut in salary.

Role Description:

​

• Weekly retail store visits

• Assessing store equipment and preparing of reports for repairs

• Repair self-contained refrigeration units, cold rooms, display cases and general electrical repairs on interactive ovens and hot cases

• Manage customer expectations and relationships

• Communicate project timelines to customers

• Inspect and sign-off repairs carried out by external sub-contractors

• Control and manage van stock

• Control and management of small storage unit with stock

• Maintain and manage company vehicle

• Continuous improvement

 

Skills requirements

• Qualified refrigeration mechanic (commercial) trade tested

• Problem and conflict management skills

• Technical ability

• Responsibility and self-starter

• Microsoft office
