Power Tools Repairs Coordinator

Salary:  R 15 000 - R 18 000 Per Month dependent upon experience

Our Client is  looking for an experienced Power Tool Repairs Coordinator to oversee our team of Repair Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, creating work schedules, ordering spare parts, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting system issues. You are also required to handle customer enquiries and spares orders.

  • To ensure success you should exhibit strong leadership skills and have sound technical power tool knowledge as well as warranty and repairs experience.

  • A top-class Supervisor will ensure that all the repair work done on site is recorded and completed on time.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A POWER TOOL REPAIRS COORDINATOR...

 

  • Designing and implementing work schedules for the staff and providing motivation and assistance when necessary.

  • Inspecting and assessing the work done by the team.

  • Ensuring the correct internal procedures are followed.

  • Implementing and/or improving existing processes to work more effectively in collaboration with other supporting departments.

  • Assisting with troubleshooting and equipment malfunctions.

  • Stock taking and ordering of spare parts.

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work area.

  • Consulting with sales reps/clients and end-users.

  • Dealing with clients (face-to-face, via emails and telephonically).

 

SKILLS

 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills

  • Self-starter with problem solving and trouble-shooting skills

  • Leadership

  • Customer and after-care service orientated

  • In depth knowledge of warranties/repairs and returns and the various processes.

  • A good eye for detail.

  • System and process orientated

 

QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE – EXPERIENCE

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • 3 Years Supervisory/ Management experience in power tool industry

  • Power tool and accessories repair knowledge essential

  • Internal Sales & Warehouse processes

  • Good computer and report writing knowledge (Excel, K8)
